Recovery run

This week is my easy week following last week's harder effort.  My plan is to run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday then Saturday, Sunday.

I decided to go out before work as it fitted in easier than lunchtime or after work. I set off at 7am and did my 5mile loop around Paisley.  I wore my Hoka's even though I was running on road. I thought it would encourgae me to run nice and easy.

My legs felt really good and I ran the loop without any trouble.  The key thing for me on these easy weeks is to make sure they are all easy and not to push at all and risk injury.

Katrina & I have decided to buy a Power Plate to help with our recovery.  Katrina uses the Power Plate at the gym she goes to and feels it has made a big difference to her recovery.  Katrina, though, recently decided to cancel her membership because she wasn't using it as much as before so with the money we are saving we decided to buy a Power Plate so we could both use it at home.

We visited Marco & Debs last night to have a look at theirs. Debs uses it most days and fully recommended it. So it's now ordered from Amazon and should arrive in a few days!
