I ran after work today setting off just before 6pm. It was getting dark as I left and fully dark by the time I got home. The nights are drawing in. Infact the clocks go back on Sunday morning. I can never remember whether this means it is lighter in the morning or lighter at night?
It does mean though that we'll get an extra hours sleep before the Jedburgh ultra on Sunday. According to the Jedburgh Running Festival Facebook page there are 115 people entered for the ultra. That's a good number considering the time of year and the fact that's it's the first time they have run it.
Robert Osfield posted a helpful Q&A about the race. Well worth having a look if you are doing the race.
I now have 18 guesses in my 'Guess My Time' competition so thanks to all those who have sent in a guess. You have until 6pm on Friday to send in your guess if you want to take part.
Finally a comment on the title. Last week I realised that my Petzl Myo RXP was dead. It would switch on but after a few seconds go off again. I rang Petzl who said they would have a look at it. My girls bought it for my 50th birthday three and half years ago so it's had lots of use.
Anyway today I received a package and it was a brand new Petzl Myo RXP as a repalcement. I was very impressed with the service. So thanks Petzl.

Hey John... 5pm will turn into 4pm...so it will be darker earlier next week... I'm always confused with that one too. :-) Then it'll just be dark all the time... ;-)
