My watch took a bit of time to grab the satelite signal and so the other four set off without me. I waited a while and then decided I'd be on my own unless I got going. The signal finally caught after about 2mins of running hence the green start marker half way down the street.
Once I caught up with Chris, Davie, Stevie and a new guy who came for the first time tonight, Craig, it was all good. We ran at a steady pace, chatting and enjoying the run.
I'd said to Katrina to make sure we don't push too hard tonight as we have a 30miler on Saturday to be ready for but I don't think either of us really paid much attention. To be fair to Katrina though, her group only ran 5miles.
I'm really looking forward to the weekend. We've never stayed at the Oak Tree Hotel at Balmaha so that will be a real treat. I'll be taking my camera and head cam so watch out for plenty of pictures from the weekend.
